Robert Horton "Ritual Ingestion of Insect Substance" Bay Area wizard Robert Horton continues his bid to take over the world with "Ritual Ingestion of Insect Substance." The material on this 3'' runs the gamut from almost traditional song forms to Eastern-tinged drones, from fingerpickingcycles to, in the case of the disc's final track, an archival recording from 1985, chaotic bursts of frenzied noise. The title track features gamelan workings by Robert's frequent collaborator Henry Kuntz. All in all, this is another essential chapter in the rapidly unfolding corpus of a consistently fascinating and brilliant musician. "Ritual Ingestion of Insect Substance" is disc three in Creeping Dawn Volume 2 SOLD OUT home
