seht - "New Blues for Whitey"

On "New Blues for Whitey," New Zealand's Stephen Clover navigates decaying,
minimalist blues and breathtaking webs of hum and drone. Many familiar seht
touchstones show up here as Clover fuses crystalline, looping guitar melodies
with ever thickening, undulating plumes of tar-thick static and glitched electronic
fuckery. When a liliting, meditative pop loop joins the sound mass midway
through, you'll think you've unearthened a supremely inspired document of
William Basinski jamming with Oval and "Womblife"-era Fahey under the Antarctic sun.

"New Blues for Whitey" is disc two in Creeping Dawn Vol. 1
